The evening will also feature poetry, music, and art from:

  • The young women creators of Now You Hear Us, a podcast about experiences of displacement, produced in collaboration with EBSC partner, Youth UnMuted.
  • Naomi Ortiz – Poet, Writer, and Visual Artist whose intersectional work focuses on self-care for activists, disability justice, eco-justice, and relationship with place, especially the Borderlands.

In 2021, our staff and partners worked hard to protect, advocate and transform on behalf of immigrants and asylum seekers, reaching nearly 10,000 people with life-saving legal and social services.

100% of event proceeds will support EBSC’s programs serving low-income immigrants.
