EBSC also provides free Fiscal Sponsorship to grassroots groups such as the Haiti Emergency Relief Fund (HERF) and OLAS, which provides psychological support and community building for LGBT asylum seekers.
OLAS-LGBT Sanctuary Project
OLAS works with LGBT asylum seekers and offers supportive, healing group experiences through weekend workshops, retreats and holiday celebrations. Our events are culturally and linguistically appropriate, affordable (no one turned away for lack of funds), and holistic (incorporating the arts, meditation, and other healing modalities).
Haiti Emergency Relief Fund
Since its inception in March 2004, the Haiti Emergency Relief Fund (HERF) has given concrete aid to Haiti’s democratic movement.
EBSC’s Executive Director also operates a refugee shelter as part of her solidarity work.
